(420Times) Cannabis is the safest and most natural medicine on Earth, yet many people fear using it because it’s illegal. The negative stigma and propaganda that has been instilled in the public since the 1930’s still effects us to this day. This includes my own family members who have or have had cancer.

When my Mom was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer in 2005, I immediately started to talk to her about cannabis and how it would help give her a better quality of life and maybe even cure her. I even gave her pamphlets and research from every organization on every topic you can imagine. She always refused. There I was, a cannabis activist, collective manager and an instructor at Oaksterdam University, unable to give my own mother the medicine that I know could have saved her life.

How can someone bring up the subject of medical cannabis for others?
